Milla Jovovich, Beautiful Supermodel from Ukraine

Milla Jovovich is a Ukrainian-born fashion supermodel who, unusually, has also had a successful acting and recording career as well as making a name for herself as a clothes designer. When you add to her list of achievements the fact that she is spectacularly beautiful and has a wonderful, sexy body, then you might think she's quite a girl. And you'd be right!

Milla Jovovich was born in December, 1975 in Kiev, (then in the Soviet Union, now part of Ukraine). In 1981 her parents emigrated with her to LA, and when they separated Milla was brought up by her mother. From an early age Milla wanted to be an actress like her mother and was coached, first at home by her mother and then at acting school where she also studied ballet and music.

Her beauty flowered early and she made her first magazine cover shoot at the age of 11 for the Italian fashion magazine 'Lei'. The following year she became one of Revlon's "Most Unforgettable Women in the World" and she has since been cover girl on hundreds of quality fashion magazines.
  

As well as her great success in the fashion modeling world, Milla has also done well in movies. Again she started at the incredibly early age of 12 years in 'Two Moon Junction' in 1988 with director Zalman King. Then she played several supporting roles in film and on television during the late 1980's, then starred in 'Return to the Blue Lagoon' in 1991. In 'The Fifth Element' in 1997, she co-starred opposite Bruce Willis. In 2001 she establishes her reputation as a leading film actress with the leading role as Alice in the 'Resident Evil' trilogy.

Milla has always been in love with the world of fashion and this led her and her friend and business partner, Carmen Hawk, to launch their Jovovich-Hawk line of haute couture fashions a few years ago. They achieved instant success in the highly competitive international fashionworld with their fresh,new line. American Vogue, featured them on their coveted list of "10 Things To Watch Out For In 2005".
