Megan Fox was born in May, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, the younger of two girls. Her parents divorced when she was very young and she was brought up by her mother and stepfather in Rockwood, Tennessee. She was only 5 years old when she started her dancing and drama training and she took to it immediately.

She worked hard and it paid off in 1999 when, aged just 13 she won a number of awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Although she was of course, too young for fulltime modeling, she got known and talked about and within a few years she had become a top glamour model as well as an up an coming movie and television actress.

Using as a jump off point her successful career as a model, Megan launched her acting career in 2001. She started in a supporting role as Brianna Wallace in 'Holiday In The Sun', opposite Ashley Olsen. She then appeared as guest star in various television series, including 'What I Like About You', 'Two and a Half Men', and 'The Help',  and she had a regular place on 'Hope and Faith'.
