Amber Heard is a beautiful blonde actress who has been featured on the cover of Maxim magazine. She has had a successful start to her acting career and has a number of powerful performances to her name including lead roles in the horror movie 'All the Boys Love Mandy Lane', and the true  story 'Alpha Dog',  both in 2006. Amber was born in Austin, Texas on April 22, 1986. From her young teenage years she was passionate about performing on stage and featured in her school's drama productions as well as advertising campaigns for local companies. At age 17 she made the bold decision to leave school and after a spell in New York doing modeling, she went to LA to pursue her ambition of becoming a top actress.

Her first appearances were on TV in 2004, in two shows one called 'Jack & Bobby' and in one episode of the series 'The Mountain'. Amber knew that she had found her life's vocation: she wanted to be an actress. almost immediately she started to get film parts in films like 'Friday Night Lights' in 2004, and 'Drop Dead Sexy' and'North Country' the following year.


Amber continued with her TV work and appeared in a suspense thriller series called 'Hidden Palms'. It ran for eight weeks in 2007, and it got Amber noticed by the critics. She was cast in 'All The Boys Love Mandy Lane', which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2006 and was released theatrically in 2008. Amber also appeared in the short movie 'Day 73' in 2008.

Amber rounded off 2008 with a spot in the Seth Rogen comedy 'Pineapple Express and she also made Maxim's Hot 100 of 2008 list at No. 21. She's a hot property alright. The future looks bright for Amber Heard.
