Adriana Lima is a gorgeous, sexy supermodel from Brazil who in a very short time has become one of the most famous models in the world. She has modeled for major names like Ralph Lauren, Emanuel Ungaro, and Christian Lacroix and she has also successfully begun an
acting career.

In 2005 Adriana was ranked at number one 'Most Desirable Woman' on the men's website Askmen.com and in 2007 she was placed at number 7 on the '100 Sexiest Women' List by FHM Magazine.

Adriana Lima was born Adriana Francesca Lima on June 12, 1981 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Although she had no thoughts of a modeling future, the world of modeling chose her, aged 13, when she finished first in a Ford Supermodel of Brazil competition and then two years later, came second in the Supermodel of the World contest. She was on her way and she moved to New York, aged 17 to take the modeling world by storm.


Adriana started with the fashion company Anna Molinari and learned her trade with top photographers like Peter Lindbergh and Ellen von Unwerth. She continued by appearing in top fashion magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire. She also did runway work for famous designers like Cynthia Rowley, Christian Lacroix, Betsey Johnson, Girls Rule, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, and Valentino.

In 2000 Adriana was chosen as the spokesmodel for Guess?., which hurled her to the superstar bracket and after a host of fashion campaigns for the likes of Anna Sui Jeans, Keds, Bebe, Gasoline, and XOXO she was then chosen to be the spokesmodel for Victoria's Secrets alongside such major names as Heidi Klum and Laetitia Casta.

As if this wasn't enough she has also started an acting careerand has appeared on E! Entertainment Television, The Travel Channel, and Whipple's World. She also appeared with Mickey Rourke, in 'The Hire: The Follow' in 2001. She's a beautiful young girl who's going places!
